Team Margot Foundation welcomes the Government consultation on an organ donation opt-out system, which has launched today. It’s a vital opportunity for us to make systemic changes for the better, so that fewer people will die waiting for a suitable organ donor.

However, central to the success of any new system on organ donation is the need for us all to talk to our families and have “the conversation”.

We urge people in their everyday lives, to think about this and make a decision in their own heads, regardless of the legislative framework.

And to then talk to their families and loved ones.
