Team Margot Donor Registration Events 

CrouchEnd4Margot began as a Team Margot Donor Registration Event which occurred on Saturday 17 January 2015 at Coleridge Primary School in north London, organised by Marina Calero. This was the first such event following Margot’s untimely death, shortly after her second birthday. It’s a wonderful example of what a community can do to help address the urgent need for more potential stem cell donors, worldwide. To see more videos of other Team Margot events, click here.

Margot’s Bone Marrow Transplant

Public awareness & understanding of bone marrow transplants is poor and the procedure itself is often widely misunderstood. Accordingly, one of the key reasons for publishing the video below is to help dispel some of the myths. Margot slept through part of her bone marrow transplant – there was no anaesthetic administered and you’ll note that it’s not an “operation”.
