On this day last year, we were all celebrating Margot’s auntie Noura’s birthday.
Noura is my younger sister and she’s an absolute rock. She has always been hugely supportive to me personally and also to what we do as Team Margot; she just quietly gets on with it and has rolled up her sleeves at all of our donor registration events. Recently Noura bought 100 ‘I love you Blue Kangaroo!’ books and donated them to Team Margot Foundation (she’ll be embarrassed reading this).
Happy birthday Noura !
We were also busy tipping buckets of iced water over one another for the ALS Ice Bucket challenge – this is Vicki’s, which also features Margot:
But in spite of all the light heartedness & smiles, behind the scenes we were still struggling to accept and deal with Margot’s condition, acutely conscious that a fortnight ago her doctors had explained that Margot’s next couple of weeks would probably be her “best weeks” – and they had already passed.
