NHS Blood and Transplant are asking families to do one simple thing: leave them certain.
In England, most adults are considered willing to donate organs unless they have opted out. In practice, families are still asked. When nobody knows what you wanted, that conversation lands in the worst possible moment — and too often the answer becomes no.
