Team Margot’s Blood Cancer Awareness Week has seen lots of fantastic local activity in the Crouch End, Muswell Hill & Highgate areas of North London over the last few days in the lead up to tomorrow’s Donor Registration Event at:
Coleridge Primary School, 77 Crouch End Hill, London N8 8DN.
No appointment is necessary – please just turn up tomorrow to register between 10:00 – 16:00 and we’ll guide you through the process.
Margot’s Auntie Nadia has presented to approaching 2,000 children, who are themselves going home and spreading the word, encouraging their parents to step forward this weekend and join the stem cell register.
In addition to the school talks, there has been a great deal of activity within various local businesses who have also been encouraged to join the register.
Well done to Martyn Gerrard Real-Estate and Litchfields Estate Agents, who were the first businesses to be swabbed as part of the Team Margot Blood Cancer Awareness Week.
Seven businesses have swabbed thus far and many more swab sessions have been booked for this week – THANK YOU to everyone for taking part (swabbers and swab-ees !) and also for generously donating money to the charity we are working in partnership with, Delete Blood Cancer UK.
For those locally based who cannot join us tomorrow, but would nevertheless like to swab and register, Coleridge Primary will be running a registration station (Coleridge East) from 14:30 to 16:00 today. Again, no appointment necessary, just pop in.
Now counting down the hours to D-Day…
