We recently received a wonderful update from Maria Smith, who has been extremely busy registering potential stem cell donors in Worcestershire over the last few weeks.
Maria ran two donor registration events at Worcestershire County Council offices, registering 80 new people onto the stem cell register and raising a total of £326 from the sale of cakes, Margot Bows and a raffle (the Margot Bow being her most popular item !).
Moreover, Maria is currently working to run another donor registration event at Worcester University and also other events for Raj Singh Bhuller across temples in the West Midlands, having seen his appeal.
She wrote:
“Can I take a moment to thank Yaser, Vicki, Oscar, Rufus and Margot for sharing your journey and highlighting to me a campaign I had never heard of before. Nadia for all your emails and support.
Margot thank you for making me smile with that gorgeous smile, crying so many times for you, praying for you, and touching my heart in a way I will never forget. You taught me that however difficult things are you can smile and we all can do more to help others. For that I will be forever grateful and every future event will be in your memory. Few people make an impact on the world through their lives, like you achieved in your short time.
Love to all Team Margot

Thank you so much Maria.
