Sometimes I find it difficult to keep up with all the fantastic Team Margot activity that’s going on and occasionally, I miss the opportunity to record what’s been happening ! This is one such case in point: the Town to Coast Charity Ride which took place a little over three weeks ago.
In their own words:
A group of MAMIL’S (Middle Aged Men In Lycra) are embarking on the first Town to Coast charity ride. These gentlemen are Craig Kitchen, Tom Westmoreland, Richard Armstrong, Dave Porter and our support driver Martin Barrow.
Starting in Barnsley on the Friday 26th June 2015 riding to York. On Saturday 27th June 2015 the ride takes off from York and finishes in Scarborough. Its open to anyone who wish to ride in part or whole, all we ask is that you make a donation and think about signing up to the stem cell register.
A simple mouth swab and an envelope could save someone’s life.
You can help by supporting our efforts, giving what you can and help us to delete blood cancer.
I’m delighted to report that the team successfully completed the ride, generating awareness and also fundraising for one of the charities we support, Delete Blood Cancer UK.
Well done and THANK YOU gentlemen for all your fantastic efforts & achievements.
Brilliant.
