… she absolutely loved it !
We were still in Sheffield this time last year and for whatever reason, Vicki decided to introduce Margot to her first tutu.
Margot was utterly thrilled with it and wouldn’t stop admiring herself in the mirror and then twirling around – she obviously felt like a million dollars at that time and loved the obvious surprise and delighted reaction from the rest of us.
The whole episode turned into one of those unforgettable moments.
It wasn’t long before she insisted on having running races whilst wearing her tutus, which is how ‘tutu racing’ came about.
From then on, Margot regularly asked to wear a tutu when playing outdoors or doing some physical exercise. For her, tutus seemed to signify good times; when wearing a tutu, her mood was always up and she was joyful & full of good spirit and life.
These photographs always bring back positive and vivid memories of that day, in what was an otherwise drab hotel room.
Looking over them, I can’t help but smile.
I hope you enjoy them too.
