We hope Team Margot will continue to grow & flourish. We wish to work with you to increase the stem cell registries worldwide, starting right here in the UK.
Together, we’re saving lives.
We see this as Margot’s legacy – and we want this to continue for the sake of others.
Imagine a world where bone marrow transplant patients don’t need to worry about finding a matching donor. The stem cell registries are so richly populated and with such diversity of potential donors that every patient is confident of quickly having a donor match made available to them.
That’s our vision.
To achieve this, we need more people to join the registeries, especially more people with mixed race.
We feel that we need to do something sustainable and to make Team Margot’s efforts last year more than a ‘one off’. Last year we were begging and borrowing to get as much awareness as possible, but going forward what we do has to be sustainable so we don’t lose people’s goodwill.
We are starting to help support others who want to hold donor registration events by providing a ‘how to’ guide and a Team Margot pack, initially to people in the UK which includes photos, videos, banners, wristbands and Margot bows.
If you’re interested in organising a donor registration event in your community at home or at work, please email info@teammargot.com to let us know.
Thank you.
Wishing you a healthy & successful 2015.

Team Margot’s mission
To help save and improve lives by educating, inspiring and motivating people, especially from ethnically diverse communities, to register as blood, organ, stem cell and bone marrow donors and to provide a range of support to families caring for child cancer patients.
