One of the 35,000+ people who registered as a potential stem cell donor last year was my friend, Katrina Krishnan Doyle. Katrina also happens to be one of the two Team Margot registrants to date who have actually been asked to donate – in Katrina’s case it was a request for bone marrow.
Katrina kindly filmed a series of video blogs during her donor journey, both before the actual donation and also for 10 days after.
Please watch and share this short video blog on the donor’s journey, which goes a long way towards dispelling some myths and addresses some of the usual concerns that people have when considering whether to become a stem cell / bone marrow donor.
Thank you Katrina ! and also to Margot’s Uncle Ivor for editing the video, so that its so watchable.
